Clive Sharples qualified as a solicitor in 1974 and worked with firms in the City of London for 25 years before co-founding Riseam Sharples in 1997. Clive has now been practicing in the West End of London for over 30 years.
Clive’s original area of expertise was facilitating the purchase of sites for redevelopment and in doing so he acted for most of the major developers in the South of England. In 1987 Clive started to become involved with acting for offshore investor purchasers acquiring off-plan residential property in Central London. He ceased acting for developers in 1993 to concentrate more specifically in acting for offshore investors and continued to do so culminating in the setting-up of Riseam Sharples in 1997 as a firm concentrating in this area of business.
On 1 September 2026 Clive oversaw the next stage of the business with the incorporation of Riseam Sharples Solicitors Limited.
