Clive Sharples qualified as a solicitor in 1974 and worked with firms in The City of London for 25 years before co-founding Riseam Sharples in 1997. Clive has now been practicing in the West End of London for over 20 years.
Clive’s original area of expertise was facilitating the purchase of sites for redevelopment and in doing so he acted for most of the major developers in the South of England. In 1987 Clive started to become involved with acting for offshore investor purchasers acquiring off plan residential property in Central London. He ceased acting for developers in 1993 to concentrate more specifically in acting for offshore investors and continued to do so culminating in the setting-up of Riseam Sharples in 1997 as a firm concentrating in this area of business.
2021 will be Clive’s 35th year acting for investors based in the Far East.

Julia read Law at UCL, studied for her Legal Practice Course part-time at the College of Law in London and thereafter worked as a trainee solicitor at Riseam Sharples. Julia joined the firm in 2001, qualified in 2004 and was made a Partner in 2007. In May 2015, Julia returned to our London office having spent three and a half years working for us from Sydney, Australia where she qualified as a solicitor in New South Wales.

Mike started his legal career at Tunbridge Wells firm Cripps Harries Hall LLP as an office boy from where he progressed via night school and five year articles to qualify as a solicitor becoming a partner in 1982.
He has focused on the house building industry and real estate investment sectors and was a pioneer in the South East Asia and South African property exhibition markets.
Following retirement from Cripps Harries Hall LLP in 2013 he joined Riseam Sharples as a Consultant and now lives in Asia where he can conveniently service Riseam Sharples clients purchasing at property exhibitions in the region .

Clive Sharples qualified as a solicitor in 1974 and worked with firms in The City of London for 25 years before co-founding Riseam Sharples in 1997. Clive has now been practicing in the West End of London for over 20 years.
Clive’s original area of expertise was facilitating the purchase of sites for redevelopment and in doing so he acted for most of the major developers in the South of England. In 1987 Clive started to become involved with acting for offshore investor purchasers acquiring off plan residential property in Central London. He ceased acting for developers in 1993 to concentrate more specifically in acting for offshore investors and continued to do so culminating in the setting-up of Riseam Sharples in 1997 as a firm concentrating in this area of business.
2016 will be Clive’s 30th year acting for investors based in the Far East.

Clive Sharples qualified as a solicitor in 1974 and worked with firms in The City of London for 25 years before co-founding Riseam Sharples in 1997. Clive has now been practicing in the West End of London for over 20 years.
Clive’s original area of expertise was facilitating the purchase of sites for redevelopment and in doing so he acted for most of the major developers in the South of England. In 1987 Clive started to become involved with acting for offshore investor purchasers acquiring off plan residential property in Central London. He ceased acting for developers in 1993 to concentrate more specifically in acting for offshore investors and continued to do so culminating in the setting-up of Riseam Sharples in 1997 as a firm concentrating in this area of business.
2016 will be Clive’s 30th year acting for investors based in the Far East.
